Who’s Involved

Michael set up the LVE Foundation in 2015 whilst Chairman of Lee Valley Estates, a Lee Valley based regeneration company, asset manager and landlord, that he founded in 1987.

The company’s ethos is creating enterprising communities and Lee Valley Estates has become a byword for rejuvenating, enhancing and empowering neighbourhoods, enabling small businesses to grow and prosper and creating award-winning communities for people to flourish.

This ethos is extended through Michael’s involvement in many charities and not for profit organisations in the Lee Valley area that support local enterprise, regeneration and young people.

In recognition of his community work, Michael was awarded an M.B.E in recognition of his services to enterprise and regeneration in North London in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2010. He was also awarded the prestigious St Mellitus Medal from the Bishop of London for his community building work in Hale Village.
