Lili Newland’s Everest Adventure

My name is Lili Newland. I am the granddaughter of Michael Polledri and I am 16 years old.

In October 2018 I am embarking on the challenge of a lifetime, namely to travel to Nepal where I will attempt to reach Everest Base Camp which is at an altitude of 16,700 feet. I will be accompanied by a small group from my school.

Junior Citizens 2018

In late June a week-long program was held in Leyton Great Hall in partnership with the Metropolitan Police and named JUNIOR CITIZENS.

We had children from 29 schools attending a serious of 7 workshops spanning each day – a total of 2750 children.

A vest for Shiloh

Shiloh is a little girl who suffers from cystic fibrosis. LVE Charitable Foundation recently provided Leyton Great Hall to enable a fundraising event to take place to raise more funds towards the vest that Shiloh needs.

On the night of the event almost £2,000 was raised and LVE Charitable Foundation has offered to make up the difference to round the figure up to £2,000. Continue reading…

LVE Charitable Foundation is the creator and principal funder of the “Don’t Get Court” © project. We recently took another group of young students through the day of their three-day project which looks at choices and consequences around gang involvement.
