A touch of glamour was brought to Leyton Great Hall on the 29th April when LVE Charitable Foundation hosted a Spring Wedding Fayre. Thanks to the lovely Sharon Gordon and Chantelle Brookner from Hamper Queens, the space was packed with stalls catering to everything you could possibly need to plan a wedding.

Visitors could browse stalls offering wedding dresses, cakes, travel packages and beauty products while enjoying complimentary champagne and strawberries and traditional Caribbean foods.

As guests entered the hall they were greeted with a selection of current hits given a twist by Pan Nation Steel Orchestra, a brilliant steel band! Alongside the stalls guests were also entertained by a dramatic salsa dance performance and a workshop on writing a Best Man speech. Couples of all ages and from throughout the community dropped in for a tour contributing to the lively atmosphere.

The show concluded with a fashion show cheered on by a boisterous crowd. The Great Hall provided an opulent setting for the glamorous models strutting down the red carpet, an exciting end to a great day.

The show reflected The LVE Charitable Foundation’s commitment to providing exciting events for the local community while also providing a showcase for small local businesses.
