LVE Charitable Foundation is proud to announce that it is the main funder of the LEADERS Academy Performing Arts School. The other sponsors are the Big Creative Academy and Big Lottery.

The aim of the project is to offer, at no cost to the participants, a performing arts school for up to 180 children and young people aged between seven and eighteen years each week. The following flyer (front and back) give further details about what the beneficiaries may expect.

As CEO of LVE Charitable Foundation, Karen Bellamy attended the sign-up day of the LEADERS Community Performing Art School.

The day was packed with children and young people wanting to sign up for some free lessons. The school will offer 180 places a week to local children who will be offered dance and drama training by very well respected teachers who have worked on some of the biggest shows on the planet.

LVE Charitable Foundation is proud to sponsor this project as it sees that it’s not just about dance or drama when you visit the lessons or see the young people perform. You can see the sense of pride in the class the camaraderie and support that the participants offer to each other.

Karen says, “Seeing how the young people grow in confidence is amazing to watch. You see a shy young person start and within weeks I have witnessed  that same, young person stand on a stage in front of hundreds if people and sing solo. It’s very touching to have the privilege to watch and be part of this project.

“LEADERS isn’t just a performing arts school, it’s also showing young people the importance of working as a team; it’s showing them how to support each other and it’s helping them grow in confidence and self-esteem.  A truly heartwarming project. ”

Already, after less than two weeks, almost 100 children and young people have enrolled on the project so if you (or, if you are a parent or guardian, your child or a child in your care) would like to take advantage of this opportunity then please don’t miss this great, free opportunity.
