LVE Charitable Foundation Arts Programme

The Leyton Great Hall is the jewel in the crown of the East End. A Grade 2 listed hall that celebrated its 125th year in 2021 as an entertainment venue. LVE Charitable Foundation as the custodians of the hall always has an exciting programme of events planned. Such events usually include Cabaret shows, Art Exhibitions, Music performances, Film Nights, Theatrical plays, and Musicals.

The Hall is a very adaptable space and has many configurations, we created the East London Cabaret Theatre with the audience seated at lamplit tables, giving us the ability to produce professional performances in the round or seated in a traditional theatrical layout. We also plan an interesting, immersive experience around Alfred Hitchcock.

Any surplus made from any of these events and productions contributes towards the funding of our charitable work within the local community.

In October 2020 LVE Charitable Foundation was awarded an Arts Council Grant as part of the culture recovery fund. This enabled us to prepare for our 125th Year.

As COVID-19 begins to recede we will continue to bring entertainment to the people of Waltham Forest and beyond.
