On Saturday, 22nd September, 2018, in Walthamstow Town Square, L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community was a key feature of the Stars over the Forest event and performed three routines featuring the Young L.E.A.D.E.R.S.

The packed audience raised the roof with its rapturous applause, cheering and stamping, which must have registered somewhere on the Richter Scale.

The event was hosted by CBBC presenter, Inel Tomlinson who went down a storm.

In addition to L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community, the acts were:

Kitch
Dionne
Luke November
Corey P
D-Radar
Lanya Matthews
Laura Clavier

Filled with self-confidence, discipline and well-honed skills, the senior group are inspirational to their younger colleagues.

LVE Charitable Foundation leads the funding of L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community, which is currently training up to 200 young people every single week. We hope that you are as proud of their achievements as we certainly are and we hope that you will join us in supporting them (below) through a donation or a regular subscription.

How can you support L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community?

L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community is run by volunteers who give generously of their time not only in training the young artistes but in providing their outfits and, in the first instance, reaching out into the community to attract, particularly, children from areas where traditional, “formal” dance classes may be beyond the means of their family.

L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community provides the training and the training provides self-discipline, a sense of purpose, self-confidence and a sense of belonging which might otherwise be absent from their young lives. The absence of these things could lead to a sense of alienation. A lack of leadership could result in young people taking the wrong road so we firmly believe in the value of the work of L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Community.
